My journey to being debt-free and sustainable-ish begins

I’m starting this blog because I want accountability and also because I want to journal my journey to financial freedom and learning about zero waste and sustainability.

Recently, I’ve been feeling a bit out of control mentally. The news is full of doom and gloom, what with war, corruption, natural disasters, global warming etc. etc. and I just wanted to grab some control back, to do my bit to make the world a better place, to improve my family’s life, and to get out of the rat race.

I decided it was time to tackle the debt we had and to try and be more responsible regarding how we live, the products we use, and the waste we create. So, I set about researching becoming debt-free and zero-waste-ish.
